Walnut Poker Table

Built for K&D in Carlsbad, CA.

This was a fully custom design and build. The top is made of solid 2-inch walnut, built into a hexagon and then cut into an 8” wide ring with a 54” total diameter. Poker chip racks and cup holders were cut out with a router. A circle of walnut plywood on the underside created the rest of the structure, and then a smaller circle of particle board covered in poker table padding and blue velvet felt make up the playing surface.

The legs are four quarter-cylinders made out of plywood and “wiggle board” and then wrapped in walnut veneer. I whipped up some custom coasters and a dealer button with the cutoffs. Everything finished in Rubio Monocoat “Chocolate”.
